DRAFT BEER LINE CLEANING

Our draft beer line cleaning principles are aligned with the Brewers Association and comply with Ohio Liquor Control Code. We clean beer lines every 14 days utilizing an electric recirculating pump. Recirculating pump cleaning is proven to be 80x more effective than "pot" or static can cleaning, which the majority of our competitors utilize. In addition to cleaning the draft lines, The Draft Guy disassembles and cleans every faucet and cleans every keg coupler during every service visit. There are three steps in ensuring the draft beer lines are properly cleaned:

3 CRITICAL ELEMENTS for EFFECTIVE DRAFT LINE CLEANING

1. Time: Caustic chemical should be recirculated through the system for 10-15 minutes.

2. Temperature: The cleaning solution should be between 80-95 degrees fahrenheit.

3. Turbulence: The cleaning solution should be recirculated with a flow rate of 2 gallons per minute. Twice the flow rate of beer.

The Draft Guy utilizes brewery grade caustic chemicals to properly clean and maintain draft beer systems.
